What is it and why should I use it?
Touchstone is our payments solution for the customer portal and is a flagship product that allows the bank to control the input of a user at branch, corporate or retail level to ensure increased rates of STP, higher levels of customer service and minimization of manual input.
Essentially, Touchstone allows web based initiation of payment instructions - whether by full or partial details and searches - and then mines the integrated reference data to validate the transaction and provide the routing information discreetly in the background.

With output that goes directly into the back office system - depending on business processing logic - or directly to Swift Alliance Access, Touchstone offers tremendous competitive advantage to a bank as well as giving the user a seamless simple interface with which to create payments or accept delivery from multiple payment channels.
Touchstone has a lot of other exciting functionality that helps the bank in terms of process automation and customer management. Available modules within Touchstone include foreign exchange rate downloads and calculation, a Commissions and Charges Module, Correspondent Management and SWIFT Message Creation.
By re-using the existing portal, Touchstone adds value to existing projects, minimises project cost and risk, is easily integrated into your existing solution and then provides customers with a simple processing solution that reduces time, processing costs and greatly increases STP rates on cross border transactions.
