What is the technical architecture?
Touchstone uses a standard technical framework in J2EE that allows it to be agnostic in terms of web browser, application server, operating system and database.
All of our products run natively on Macintosh, Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems and have been tested in a variety of combinations of web browser, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Opera and Safari, using Websphere, Web Logic, Red Hat and Apache Tomcat. Databases that are currently supported include DB2, SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.

The framework has a presentation layer, application layer and persistent data layer, with the option of also including an O/R Mapping layer to meet the technical requirement of the client.
This highly flexible, robust and scalable architecture allows us to process up to 300 to 800 transactions per second, depending upon processing logic.
