How quickly can it be deployed?
The Vortex Online version is effectively same day. All you need is the login and we set up your user access to our hosted solution. The system administrator will then configure the Correspondent module, user access rights and provides user access in line with our agreement.
Vortex CD takes a little longer, depending on your requirements for screen, sleeve and CD design. Once this is agreed, there is a ten working day schedule for printing, production and shipping direct to the bank. Once you receive it, it is ready for use on the same day as the entire application and database are contained on the CD.
Vortex SaaS is remarkably easy to integrate with your legacy systems, but we recommend that you allow four weeks for the integration and testing cycle. Some customers have been able to complete this process in two weeks from contract signing to go live, but this is dependent upon how many of the configured web services you choose to use and integrate.
The administrator user interface allows the bank to control the output from the system and also to manage security and user access rights.
You can choose to deploy the solution either externally with us or with a preferred hosting partner, or internally within your own environment. However you choose to deploy the system, it should fit directly into the technical environment that you have, as it works across the major operating platforms, databases, application servers and web browsers - even running natively on the Mac OS X Leopard operating system!
